You have a 45 million budget to buy 5 countries of which you think are going to win the most points in the Fantasy Gold Cup 2019.

The Gold Cup starts with a group phase where 16 countries are divided over 4 groups of 4 countries. In their group they will play every country one time (3 matches in total). In the group phase the teams can win points in every match. If they win a match they will get 3 points and for a draw they will get 1 point.

After the group phase the best 2 countries per group will go to the so called knockout phase. For reaching the knockout phase (quarter final) every country gets 2 points. See the points table for more details.

An example: Mexico wins 3 group matches in round 1. In this case Mexico will score 9 points for your team (3 x 3 points). Because they also reached the knockout phase Mexico gets another 2 points. For reaching the semi final Mexico will get 6 points. When Mexico loses the semi-final they earned 17 points in total (9 points in the group phase and 8 points (2 and 6) in the knockouts).
