You have a 85 million budget to buy 10 football teams of which you think are going to win the most points in the Fantasy Europa League (Budget).

The Europa League (Budget) starts with a group phase where 48 football teams are divided over 12 groups of 4 teams. In their group they will play every team twice (6 matches in total). In the group phase the teams can win points in every match. If they win a match they will get 3 points and for a draw they will get 1 point.

After the group phase the best 2 teams per group will go to the so called knockout phase. For reaching the knockout phase (round 2) every team gets 3 points. See the points table for more details.

An example: Ajax wins 6 group matches in round 1. In this case Ajax will score 18 points for your team (6 x 3 points). Because they also reached the knockout phase Ajax gets another 3 points. For reaching the third round Ajax will get 5 points and for reaching the quarter final they will get 5 points. When Ajax loses the quarter final they earned 31 points in total (18 points in the group phase and 13 points (3, 5 and 5) in the knockouts).

Be aware: the numbers 3 from the Champions League group stage will enter the knock-out stage from the Europa League. These eight teams are not known right now and for that reason it is not possible to pick them.
